A batch of four new song packs are now available for purchase from within the iPhone version of Guitar Hero.

A three-song set for Weezer, Rise Against, Coldplay, and Breaking Benjamin have posted to the Guitar Hero in-app store at a price of £1.19/$1.99 a pop.

Each pack comes with three tracks, which can be played on their own for fun or within the single player challenges. Purchase the Coldplay song pack, for instance, and you get "Clocks," "Viva la Vida," and "Yellow."

In addition to the paid song packs, publisher Activision is giving away a pair of rock-style national anthems recorded especially for the game.

"God Save the Queen" and "The Star-Spangled Banner" can be downloaded from within the game at no cost.

Guitar Hero is available for iPhone and iPod touch at a price of £1.79/$2.99.
