Updated on November 15th at 09:15: GT Racing 2: The Real Car Experience is out now on Android as well, so if you're a gamer of the Google persuasion you can grab it from the Play Store for nothing at all.

Original story follows...

Vroooooooooom. That's the noise cars make in my head.

I bet the cars in Gameloft's GT Racing 2: The Real Car Experience make proper noises though, recorded carefully in different surroundings to get them just right. That's the sort of game it is.

You can find out for yourself what sort of game it is because it's out on the App Store right now for the low low price of nothing at all.

There are 67 licensed cars from manufacturers including Mercedes, Ferrari, and Nissan, and you can race at 13 different tracks from around the world.

According to Gameloft there are 1,400 events for you to complete. Which sounds like an awful lot of events to us.

There's a realistic physics engine underneath, changing weather conditions, four different camera angles, and no repair times or repair costs if you smash your car up.

We went hands-on with the game a while back, so if you want a better idea of what the game plays like before you give up a chunk of your memory to it, check out our preview here.

If you've heard enough you can grab GT Racing 2: The Real Car Experience from the App Store right now. We'll let you know when it lands on the Google Play Store.
