[Update] Gameloft and Mercedes-Benz will be offering iOS gamers 'the real car experience' in GT Racing 2
Oh, Lord, won't you buy me... (Updated: it'll be available on Android, too)
Consider yourselves updated.
Original story follows...
Gameloft has confirmed that its realistic driving simulator GT Racing 2 will race onto the App Store before the end of the year.
Developed in conjunction with Mercedes-Benz, GT Racing 2 is subtitled "The Real Car Experience".
So, it's probably just a game about ignoring strange noises until your wheels fall off.
Not really. It's a game about driving really fast cars really fast. Only Mercedes cars are actually featured in the trailer below, but Gameloft promises 67 cars from 35 manufacturers in the final product.
There are going to be lots of real-world racing tracks on offer in GT Racing 2. Plus, there'll be an extensive set of single-player and multiplayer modes for you to get to grips with.
GT Racing 2 will be a free-to-play game, although we're not sure what sort of payment model Gameloft intends to use with the game.
We'll let you know when we got a more concrete release date for GT Racing 2. We'll also keep you posted on whether the game will be hitting the Google Play Store, too.
