Game of Thrones: Kingsroad takes you to the Crow’s Nest in its first content update post-launch
  • The first content update features the Crow’s Nest
  • Help Stannis Baratheon take back Griffin’s Roost
  • New Raid mode tasks you to fight the Kraken

A month after its release, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad has rolled out its first major content update, expanding the world of Westeros with new regions, a fearsome boss fight, and a range of seasonal activities. This update invites you to enter the Crow’s Nest and set sail against the legendary Kraken in the newly introduced Raid mode.

The Crow’s Nest joins Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, marking a new area south of the Stormlands, where you will aid Stannis Baratheon in retaking Griffin’s Roost from treacherous mercenaries. With Stannis poised to sail north to the Wall, he can't leave his lands unprotected, and your intervention is key to rooting out betrayal and restoring order.

You will be able to take part in a number of quests, sub-quests, ruins, as well as bounties that are scattered throughout the Crow’s Nest. And if you're up for a challenge, you can take on a deadly new roaming threat, the Shadowcat, which is a beast as stealthy as it is savage.

In addition, the update introduces Raid mode, a co-op challenge that pits you against the Kraken, a monstrous sea creature straight from the lore of A Song of Ice and Fire. Located in the Sunset Sea, this boss encounter plays out aboard a ship, requiring sharp coordination, a powerful team of allies, and mastery of various mechanics to overcome.
