iPhone space-trader Galaxy on Fire 2 updated and on sale

Fishlabs's epic space-trader Galaxy on Fire 2 has just docked at the App Store with cargo hold full of extra features.

There's an 'extreme' difficulty mode for veteran players, localisations for French and Italian, and fixes for all of the game's known bugs.

Galaxy on Fire 2 sees you strap into the cockpit of ace pilot Keith T. Maxwell as you explore the galaxy trading, battling, and upgrading your ship. It scored a Silver Award at review, with Tracy Erickson praising the game's scope and lavish production values.

One of the few criticisms levelled at the game was the lack of manoeuvrability in combat, which often left you absorbing enemy fire like a well-armoured cow. This major flaw has been addressed in this update, as you're now able to dodge incoming attacks with a swipe of the screen.

The freshly updated Galaxy on Fire 2 is out now, available for the introductory price of £3.99/$6.99/€5,49 until the 17th of December.
