Furry Legends announced as Samsung bada title
First bada game breaks cover
No sooner have we had the official unveiling of Samsung’s new bada OS at this year’s Mobile World Congress than the first details of what gaming delights we can expect have started to trickle through.
Polish developer Gamelion has exclusively confirmed to Pocket Gamer that its upcoming platformer Furry Legends - which is also coming to Nintendo’s WiiWare and DSiWare services - will be hitting bada.
Furry Legends is a cute and cuddly run and jump title which focuses on the long-running conflict between the Squaries and Furballs. Plenty of good old-fashioned action is promised, as are dashes of humour and lots of puzzle-solving. The lush 3D visuals should give the Samsung Wave and its 1GHz CPU a thorough workout.
While some would argue that what bada needs right now is technically impressive killer apps, Furry Legends could achieve the same kind of success enjoyed by Two Tribes’s iPhone platformer Toki Tori - which, coincidentally, also appeared on WiiWare.
