Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier crosses 500,000 pre-registrations in just 4 days

The Final Fantasy series’ very own battle royale, Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier, began pre-registrations less than a week ago. And Ateam Entertainment and Square Enix will be very pleased because the game has already crossed over half a million pre-registrations in this short period. It is slated to launch this month and the pre-registrations just won’t stop increasing.

Players were supposed to receive a host of awards on crossing pre-registration milestones. Those who have already pre-registered will receive a Chocobo Egg (300,000 pre-registrations), and now the Shinra Mask Skin for crossing 500,000 pre-registrations. Here’s a list of the remaining rewards players can still win before the game launches:

• 770,000 pre-registrations – Shinra Bike Skin
• 1,000,000 pre-registrations – Shinra Utility Vehicle Skin
• 2,000,000 pre-registrations – Shinra Helicopter Skin

Players can also win a Shinra Box full of Final Fantasy VII merchandise through a Twitter campaign! All you have to do is follow the official FF7FS Twitter handle and the official FFVII Remake account and then retweet the campaign tweet and you may just win. The deadline for the event is November 11th at 7:59 am PDT. Three winners will be picked randomly and will receive the merchandise box. Please note that the contest is applicable only for people residing in the USA, Colombia, Puerto Rico (excluding Quebec), the UK, Germany, and France.

A quick recap on Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier, is a 75-player battle royale with some RPG elements infused into the game. As Shinra soldiers, players will battle it out to be the last person standing using a variety of combat systems like spells, guns, and swords. The map will also feature monsters to be slain to bring some RPG action into the game.
