Top 10 iPhone games for grabbing easy Plus+ achievements

A bit of healthy addition for your Plus+ score

Top 10 iPhone games for grabbing easy Plus+ achievements
|

The Plus+ interface looks a lot snazzier than that of the OpenFeint social gaming network, but it definitely isn't implemented in as many iPhone games.

That means that digging around for Plus+ achievement points to add to your Plus+ score is a little more tricky than bagging OpenFeint achievements.

Fear not. Pocket Gamer has scoured the App Store, finding a list of free and paid games that will easily boost your score and make you look like a gaming god to your friends.

Here's our list of ten games with easy Plus+ points.

Super Jetpack Dragon IV: Village Burntopia - free

With a seriously silly name, Super Jetpack Dragon IV provides Canabalt-style gameplay. Plus+ achievements are awarded for endurance - run over 10,000 metres, etc.

There's an easy 350+ points waiting for you here, with more if you've got the skills to last just that little bit longer.

We Rule - free

We Rule doesn't exactly throw points at you willy nilly, but when you consider the fact that barely any input is needed most of the time, it all adds up.

All 500 points come from endurance rather than skill, so stick with it and you'll reap the Plus+ rewards.

Space Shooter - free

A dull, blocky, but relatively easy shooter, with lots of lovely achievements on offer. Points are awarded for completing levels, as well as following certain tasks.

Playing through the game will take an hour or two and result in 200+ points, while another 50 are available for the more nimble players.

Chase the Dot - free

A game about touching dots as quickly as you can. Initially it's pretty tough, but as you get into it, the Plus+ points start to fly.

There are 750 points at stake, with the majority of players capable of grabbing around 400 of them. The other 350 are for the extremely speedy only.

GodFinger - free

GodFinger is only available for iPad right now, with an iPhone version coming soon. If you're lucky enough to own an iPad, you can bag yourself a fair number of points.

As with We Rule, all 515 points come with time, but you don't actually have to put that much effort into playing it.

Dizzypad - $1.99 / £1.19

There's a whopping 925 points on offer with this leap-frogging lilypadder, making it a must for anyone looking to increase their Plus+ score tenfold.

The majority of those points come with playing through the game for a while, although you'll have earned around 500 of them within an hour of play. Definite result.

Tiptop: The Last March - 99c / 59p

Tiptop is a rather crude take on Lemmings with silly caricatures of celebrities. It's got a hefty number of Plus+ points, however.

750 are on offer, and every single one is collected by playing through the game in its entirety. A couple of hours play, and they'll all be yours.

Makeout Mania! - $2.99 / £1.79

Plant a smacker on the cheek of Makeout Mania! and you could very well land yourself with 750 Plus+ points.

Most of the achievements come from playing through the game's puzzle and Mania mode, although a few are more endurance-based. The game's pretty decent fun, too, with some good arcade-style play to be found.

Parachute Ninja - 99c / 59p

Every single one of Parachute Ninja's 750 Plus+ points come from playing through the game. It's fantastic fun, too, so the points are more of a nice bonus.

You'll have unlocked at least 450 of the points by the time you reach the end of the game, while the other 300 will add themselves to your points score after a bit more play. Definitely worth grabbing.

Skee-Ball - 99c / 59p

A simply astonishing 1210 points are here for the takings, and all rely on your skill at throwing balls into holes.

Get a score of 8000 and you'll earn over 450 points, while grabbing stars and perfect games will finish off the rest. There are a couple for purchasing in-game costumes, but they only make up 85 of the possible 1210.
