Fate Trigger drops new trailer to hype up upcoming early access for the anime-themed battle royale
  • PC early access launches Q1 2026
  • Cross-platform play confirmed once it officially launches
  • First-person POV to be launched in future update

Saroasis Studios has dropped a new trailer for Fate Trigger, effectively hyping us all up even more after the last Closed Beta Test. The studio has also announced that the upcoming battle royale will launch in early access in Q1 2026, albeit only on PC for the time being (the injustice!).

That said, while we still might have to wait a tad longer to get our hands on this colourful adventure, we did get to try it first-hand - and if you're curious, you can have a look at our Fate Trigger preview to get an idea.

For now, it's comforting to know that the studio has confirmed cross-platform play and has committed to adopting the first-person POV in future updates as well. And while the main goal is to offer a low barrier to entry in the genre, there's also the complexity of the different modes, such as Rapid Trials, 8v8 Team Deathmatch and Ranked Matches, to name a few.

There's also this exciting new trailer to feast our eyes on while we wait, which showcases some of the characters and also gives us a bit of a taste of what to expect when it comes to all the flashy moves and action-packed battles.

Of course, if you're all too eager to duke it out with others on the battlefield to prove you're the best of the best, why not have a look at our list of the best battle royales on Android to show them you have what it takes to be the last one standing?

In the meantime, if you're eager to join in on all the fun, you can do so by checking out Fate Trigger on the official website. You can also join the community of followers on the official Facebook page to stay updated on all the latest developments.
