Sparse but curious

Fast & Furious competition winners

Well, after three months of constant uploads, hundreds upon hundreds of entries to our competition, and nearly two weeks deliberation, we've finally decided on the winning photos for the Pocket Gamer Fast & Furious: Adrenaline competition.

However, we should clarify a couple of things: when we say “hundreds of entries” we mean “two entries”; and when we say “nearly two weeks of deliberation”, we mean “we haven’t gotten around to writing this story before now”.

But fear not, because there is still excitement to be had, as you don’t know which of the two entries is the winner. So without further ado, the results:

First place

Ole-hans Martinsen’s sterling effort raised smiles in the Pocket Gamer office, and we’re particularly impressed with the composition of the image.

We do hope, though, that being dragged through the streets on the back of your van didn’t result in irreversible gluteal damage. Ole-hans wins a Fast & Furious Car Kit, Fast & Furious T-shirt, and a pack of supercar TopTrumps.

Second place

Annamarie Mse Simpson impressed us all with her retro credentials (and pyjama bottoms), wielding as she is a Sega Game Gear on the bonnet of her MR2.

Whilst we don’t advocate using real women as bonnet ornaments, it's clearly a striking statement to make. Annamarie wins a Fast & Furious Car Kit and Fast & Furious T-shirt.

Congratulations to both of you, and thank you very much for entering. We’ll get in touch via Facebook to establish where you would like your prizes to be sent.
