At E3 2015, as part of its "Digital Event," Nintendo announced a new three-player Zelda game called The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes for Nintendo 3DS.

It looks like a three person take on Four Swords: Adventure, but with a more co-operative focus than the competitive spin seen in that game.

01

One way you'll work together is to the use the totem mechanic, where you stand on each other's shoulders to get up higher. In fact, Nintendo says that this is why the game uses three people instead of four: the tower would be too high, otherwise.

You can also play in single player by using supporting doll-like characters, if you have no pals to play with.

02

The game has a fashion focus, where you can create and dress up in different outfits to get new powers. There's a Samurai suit, for example, and a bomb outfit.

The whole game takes place in a world obsessed with clothes.

Triforce Heroes will have both online and local multiplayer, will use asimilar visual style to Link Between Worlds, and is out Fall 2015.
