It's all hands on deck over at Shenandoah Studios.

As well as working on El Alamein (the sequel to the Silver Award-winning Battle of the Bulge) and the recently crowdfunded American Civil War strategy title Gettysburg: The Tide Turns, the US studio is busy applying the finishing touches to another in-depth iOS historical battler.

Called Drive on Moscow, it's another sort-of sequel to Battle of the Bulge. In this one, the focus is very much on the pivotal battle for Moscow between Soviet and German troops.

It's being designed by Ted Raicer - the man behind classic World War I boardgame Paths of Glory - and will be available this autumn.

Much like in Battle of the Bulge, historical accuracy is of paramount importance in Drive on Moscow. This time around, however, you'll need to tackle adverse weather conditions as well as contend with the opposing army.

You can play as either the Soviets or the Germans, by the way. Furthermore, there are new units for you to control, and different defensive fortifications for you to use to your advantage.

There's also Game Center support, a single-player campaign, online multiplayer, and face-to-face multiplayer. So, that's pretty much every base covered.

As mentioned earlier, Drive on Moscow should roll onto the App Store later in the year.
