Dead or Alive: Dimensions 3DS pulled in Sweden for possible child pornography

Now here are two terms you don't normally hear in the same sentence: Nintendo and child pornography.

Yet Nintendo has been forced to pull upcoming fighter Dead or Alive: Dimensions in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark due to a possible child pornography violation.

The action comes in light of the Figure Mode that comes with the game, allowing players to put the girls in poses and take photos of them.

Worried that this may well violate Swedish law, distributor Bergsala and Nintendo have released a joint statement:

"Nintendo of Europe have decided not to release the game in Sweden, for various reasons. However, they do not want to list any details regarding their decision.

"We are sorry for how this impacts the Swedish fans of Dead or Alive. Thankfully, it's extremely unusual that these things happen."
