Crunchyroll set to expand its Game Vault offerings with a whopping six new releases
From pubs, to summer days, to tactics

- Crunchyroll Game Vault is expanding with six new planned releases
- This suite of summer releases includes Metal Slug Tactics and Two Strikes
- It expands Game Vault's already jam-packed offerings
When it comes to subscription gaming, I think one dark horse contender that people tend to dismiss is Crunchyroll. Despite how popular it's become, anime is still seen as a very niche interest. But focusing on Japanese gaming and various cult classic releases seems to be working in Crunchyroll's favour, if the whopping six new releases they have in the works this summer are any indicator!
With nearly all of these debuting for the first time on mobile, it's a doozy how many there are here. So, let's dig in...
- Pub Encounter - We're starting off strong with a visual novel launching, well, today! In this romance-themed VN, you'll enter a cosy, old-fashioned pub to find romance with several middle-aged men. Hey, it's what's on the press release.

- Grisaia Phantom Trigger Vol. 1 - Another acclaimed visual novel is finally getting an iOS release. Guns, girls and shooting all make for an interesting 'kinetic novel' with very straightforward progression.
- Metal Slug Tactics - Rocket lawnchair! The familiar run 'n' gun series zooms out a bit for squad-based RPG action that lets you take the entire Metal Slug crew to the battlefield to duke it out with familiar enemies in a new way.

- Phantom Breaker: Ultimate Battle Grounds - A crunchy retro beat 'em up based on the hit fighting game series. Perfect for fans of River City Girls or Streets of Rage.
- Shin-chan: Me and the Professor on Summer Vacation - Shin-chan's summer adventures continue in this beautifully animated adventure full of mystery and wonder.
- Two Strikes: Perhaps the most exciting on the list. In this Hellish Quart-like, you get only one slice to take out your opponent in stylish samurai style. Perfect for you, Masamune fans out there.

All of these alone would be great releases, but you'll find them staggered out over the summer and available for pre-reg right now, ensuring you won't be low on stuff to do as the weather stays hot and you keep to the shade!
