NEOWIZ and Hidea have announced a new update to Cats&Soup, their totally chill idle game on mobile. The latest update lets players bask in the relaxing atmosphere of spring as the game's Cherry Blossom Festival brings limited-time in-game events, special event items and more until April 10th.

In Cats&Soup, players can stop and smell the flowers as well as clear missions to gather special Cherry Blossom Petals. These, in turn, can be used to craft 25 kinds of event items, which include "cherry blossom theme", "cherry blossom furniture", "cherry blossom lamp", "spring costumes" and more. For a limited period of time, players can also try their hand at finding the Cherry Blossom Cat using the observatory facility.

Of course, to keep things in sync with the meditative and low-key vibe of the game, the special event will also welcome a new feature called "The Picnic". With this installed onto players' fields, cuddly kitties and furry felines can chill, relax and do what they do best.
