Rumour: Konami to unveil Castlevania: Mirror of Fate for 3DS at E3

According to a leaked Konami meeting schedule, a new Castlevania game for the 3DS will be unveiled at E3 next month.

The leaked document, published originally by Dutch site N1ntendo, allegedly contains Konami's E3 meeting itinerary, which included a reference to upcoming 3DS exclusive Castlevania: Mirror of Fate.

According to N1ntendo, Konami asked the site to remove the itinerary from its pages, although it was later republished with "new evidence" and an amended spelling.

As of this morning, however, the article has been pulled for a second time, with the site citing "damage control" as the reason (although a post of the original article is still live on N1ntendo's forum).

A moment's reflection

It has since been discovered that Konami has registered both the 'Mirroroffate.com' and 'Mirrorofface.net' domain names, which does go some way to supporting the Dutch site's claims.

Though there is no info on the type of gameplay 3DS owners can expect from Castlevania: Mirror of Fate, it is known that David Cox and Enric Alvarez, producer and director of Castlevania: Lord of Shadows. respectively, are both working on the new game.
