N-Gage updates Bounce Boing Voyage for motion controls

Bounce Boing Voyage is about as close to a mascot as Nokia has, with the original game, Bounce, having been embedded in its early handsets when mobile gaming was still having its nose wiped by its mum.

Anyway, things have come a long way since then, and the popular N-Gage re-envisioning has just received a high-tech update.

Compatible handsets will now be able to control the spherical star of the game using accelerometer controls, making this the platform's first motion controlled game.

Updating is a bit of a palaver, given you might first need to update your N-Gage system (some of the earlier versions don't support the new Bounce Boing Voyage update), then remove your previous version of the game, then install the new one.

It's a free update, at least, and step-by-step instructions for getting the latest version of the game can be found on the Nokia blog.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
