Magic: ManaStrike's latest season has begun, introducing a new Planeswalker and Magic Pass

Magic: ManaStrike's Vivien season has now drawn to close so another will naturally take its place. This time around it will be called Ikoria Season and it will run until 20th May. It will introduce another Magic Pass alongside a new Planeswalker.

The latest Planeswalker to enter the fray will be Huatli who has the mana colours White/Red. Huatli will offer some support to one other unit when she's placed onto the battlefield. Her passive will grant recovery to the unit with the highest HP currently in play. Her attacks meanwhile are capable of knocking foes back when they wander into her attack range.

As mentioned there will also be a new Magic Pass. Among the usual Season Icons, Gold, Team Coins, Cards, and Boosters players will also be able to get a skin for Nahiri, a Kor Warrior and Planeswalker who has the power to control stone. Elsewhere on the pass will be a Level Boost Voucher, a Skin Selection Ticket, an Emoji and a Player Icon.

Beyond that, there will be a new lobby background and map. This will unlock once players have battled their way to Rank 6. Once they've achieved that, they will start to see an Ikoria-themed lobby background, map and other bits of content themed around it.

If you're unfamiliar with Magic: ManaStrike it's a Clash Royale-style MOBA where the various cards you'll use in the game are all from Magic: The Gathering. They maintain their mana colours too. We recently did an interview with Hyun-il Jang of Netmarble Monster if you're interested in learning more about the development of the game.

Magic: ManaStrike is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
