This year's instalment of 2K's basketball series, NBA 2K20, has arrived on both iOS and Android devices. It's available for £5.99 and has made a few changes to last years version but is mostly returning modes with a few tweaks.

The headline new feature is the addition of Run the Streets Mode. This will allow you to take your MyPLAYER around the world in 3v3 streetball games. You'll be competing against other players in a bid to top the leaderboards.

To run alongside the MyPlayer feature, NBA Stories will also return. Once again this will let you begin your character's career during college and follow it all the way to – hopefully – the big leagues.

The multiplayer has apparently been tweaked so that you'll be able to find opponents quicker. You can play against your friends through LAN or simply use Game Center or Google Play Games, depending on which version of the game you get.

If a more hands-off approach appeals to you then you can play The Association. This lets you play the game as though you're the GM. So you can spend your time scouting rookies, dealing with budgets and other administrative jobs.

Finally, another returning mode will be NBA Stories. This will let players experience the history of some of the NBA's biggest stars. In total there will be 5 to play through. This is a cool feature I wish they'd put in other sports games as I enjoy learning about past greats that might be from before my time.

NBA 2K Mobile Basketball was also updated today. So there are quite a few basketball options available on mobile right now. So before spending money on NBA 2K20 it might be worth checking out Mobile Basketball first as it's free-to-play.

But if you'd prefer to play the newest version of 2K's mainline mobile series then NBA 2K20 is available now on the App Store and Google Play. It's a premium game that costs £5.99. However, there are also in-app purchases too.
