Physical Octopath Traveler stock is already running low just days after launch
Maybe get it digitally?
It's only been a few days since the Square Enix JRPG Octopath Traveler was released, but the game has done so well that some folks can't get their hands on it.
The Switch exclusive is currently struggling to provide the stock in some regions. It's even set back Amazon America's delivery times between one to two months.
The Octopath Twitter account has issued an apology and suggested that buying the game digitally might be a good alternative.
If you didn't know, the game is a turn based JRPG which has you explore the fantasy world of Orsterra. There are eight main character all with their own story quests to complete and unique abilities to play with.
We very much enjoyed the gameplay, but the story structure didn't really engage us. You can check out our full review here.
Hopefully, regions will restock soon so people can get to enjoying a solid JRPG on the Switch. Or you can just get it digitally, if you don't mind paying that little bit extra.
