12 games from Nintendo's E3 Spotlight and Treehouse Live presentations
In one convenient location
As I'm sure you're aware, Nintendo showed off its wares last night in its E3 presentation, and though there wasn't anything particularly surprising or current, it wasn't half bad.
But because we all love simplicity, here's all of the announcement from yesterday's presentation condensed into a nicely laid out list just for you. Here're the 13 things we learnt.
1 - Xenoblade Chronicles 2
"Explore an endless ocean of clouds, where the last remnants of civilisation live on the backs of colossal beasts called Titans. Experience the story of Rex and his new friend, Pyra, a mysterious being known as a Blade who grants him tremendous power. Together, search for Pyra's long lost home Elysium, the ultimate paradise for all of humanity."2 - Kirby
Yes, our favourite little pink friend is back and this time on the Nintendo Switch with a bunch of friends and the return of epic copy abilities. In Kirby you'll recruit enemies by hitting them with hearts (so cinnamon), and gather up a party of up to four characters. You can also be joined by up to three friends to battle through the Kirby universe.
3 - Yoshi
Much like Kirby, one of our favourites it coming to the Nintendo Switch with his own game. Yoshi leads us on a brand new side-scrolling adventure absolutely dripping with charm. Exploring a big world decorated like a mini diorama, each stage has a traditional front side as well as a flip side with various views and surprises. You can also be joined by one other friend to enjoy simultaneous two-player action.4 - Pokken Tournament DX/Pokemon RPG
Pokken Tournament DX is another game ported and made a little better from the Wii U and arcade versions. Aside from all of the features from the Wii U game, you'll also be getting Decidueye as a new main Pokemon, and Litten and Popplio as new support Pokemon. It'll never be easier to challenge and battle people on-the-go.As for the mysterious new Pokemon game being developed there's no title, release date, or details at all. We just know it's going to be a Pokemon RPG for the Switch, and we're pretty stoked for it.
5 - Fire Emblem Warriors
"Clash with legions of soldiers and fierce monsters as Marth, Xander, Corrin, and other Fire Emblem heroes unleashing over-the-top-powerful Dynasty Warriors-style move. Fire Emblem Warriors is launching on Nintendo Switch, Fall 2017"Where some game details have been pretty rich, others are sitting a little thin but gamers from around the internet are still stoked to see Fire Emblem Warriors on the way.
