It's been a long time coming, but the brilliant mobile version of the tank-based MMO has finally made its way to the Google Play Store in all of its shooty tanky glory.

Not only will you be able to play with and against Android-powered friends, you'll also be able to fight iOS gamers thanks to cross-platform support.

The game sees you rolling out across battlefields, upgrading your tank, and doing your utmost to come out victorious in 7v7 team deathmatches. In tanks.

This is one of those rare occasions when a PC game is transferred brilliantly to portable devices. If you've got an Android tablet it's a must-download.

Twisty Hollow
By Arkadium Games - buy on Android (£1.27 / $1.99)

A clever, original puzzler with a style all of its own and some brilliantly implemented fresh ideas. Plus it isn't free to play, which is always good.

The aim of the game is to twist a series of rings to match things up. You might need to connect a butcher, a knife, and a pig to make some bacon. Or an old lady, some knitting needles, and some wool to make a jumper.

You then need to deliver these to customers waiting outside the rings. Wait too long to give them their items and they'll storm off in a huff.

It's a bright and engaging experience, and adds new concepts regularly to make sure things don't get repetitive. Definitely worth a good long look.

Shadowrun: Dragonfall
By Harebrained Schemes - buy on Android (£4.45 / $6.99)

The sort of sequel to the Silver Award-winning Shadowrun Returns, Dragonfall is another 20 hour campaign that features a polished UI and plenty of adventuring.

Set in a cyberpunk universe that's filled with orcs, elves, and towering ogres, the game sees you playing an elite criminal out to make a name for yourself in the underworld.

Everything is viewed from an isometric-ish perspective, and the tactical battles are turn-based. You need to use cover and nous to win the day and clear the way for your thievery.

You don't need to have played the original to understand what's going on, and there's a whole stack of tactical, old school RPG fun to get your teeth into here.

Notable mentions RGB Express

A brilliant, horribly addictive puzzler all about delivering coloured boxes in coloured vans to coloured houses.

It starts off simple enough, but soon you'll need to work out how to send out different vans without crossing paths, picking up the wrong parcels, or passing the wrong house.

Bright, cheerful, and guaranteed to remain on your phone for a good long while.

Bitcoin Billionaire

A mindless tapper in the very best sense of the term. Every tap collects you more currency, and the more currency you make the more you can spend on improving your bitcoin mining operation.

The compulsion loop is simple but fearsome, and becoming the best miner in the world quickly becomes an obsession.

It won't be to everyone's taste, but if you like your gameplay to the point there's a lot to like here.
