Hellraid: The Escape is a mobile tie-in to upcoming PC and console first-person dark fantasy gore-fest Hellraid.
Here, though, you'll be using your brains to try and outwit demons and monsters in order to escape from a nightmare realm suspended somewhere outside space and time.
Oh, and you're also dead. This, it turns out, isn't as much of a hindrance as you might expect in these sort of situations, mind.
You'll need to solve a series of fiendish puzzles, using your noggin to get past towering demonic creatures. At the same time, you'll be uncovering who you are and why an evil sorcerer has transported you to a brown and unpleasant hell.
Sort of like a normal Tuesday, then.
Hellraid: The Escape certainly looks impressive, and it claims to have intuitive controls that make the most of the possibilities and capabilities of Apple's hardware.
It'll be a Universal app for iOS, and it'll be a premium purchase. On the game's site, its dev proudly boasts there'll be no IAPs in this here one.
