Before you watch the video above, please note that there are some spoilers in it. So, if you want to go into Cabin Escape: Alice's Story fresh, don't watch it.

Anyway, the game has just landed on the New Zealand App Store, which means that this sort-of prequel to Forever Lost will be surfacing in the UK and US at midnight tonight.

Cabin Escape: Alice's Story is free to download, and is basically a 'thank you' from Glitch Games to fans of Forever Lost. It's also a bit of an appetiser while you wait for the third chapter in the Forever Lost series.

As you may have already guessed, Cabin Escape: Alice's Story takes place in a cabin. You need to solve a series of puzzles to try and figure out why you're in there and how to get out.

Get out

There's an eerie soundtrack here and a sense of unease that permeates every switch-flip and puzzle piece slide.

If you're into vaguely spooky escape-the-place games with a bit of meat on their bones, then this is definitely going to be up your alley.

Keep your eyes on the App Store later tonight, for Cabin Escape: Alice's Story should be popping up for nowt around midnight.
