Konami confirms Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D for 3DS will sneak onto European shores on March 8th

After confirming in November that its eagerly anticipated 3DS stealth-'em-up Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D will launch in Japan on March 8th, Konami has announced that it will debut in Europe on the very same day.

Yes: March 8th. Put it in your diary. Now.

This reworked PlayStation 2 title has been spruced up with new features, including a camouflage photography system that allows you to create new camo suits for Snake by using snaps from your 3DS camera.

Konami has also confirmed that Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D will support Nintendo's somewhat clunky Circle Pad Pro add-on. The peripheral is said to make targeting enemies easier.

On the subject of accessories - kind of - Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima recently revealed a limited edition Snake Eater 3DS unit featuring a "snake pattern embossed design". More details on that will be revealed on January 20th.
