First Race of Champions iPhone and Android screenshots roll up

Your chance to beat Vettel

First Race of Champions iPhone and Android screenshots roll up

Invictus Games has wheeled the first set of screenshots of its forthcoming Race of Champions game out of the studio and everything is suitably Audi R8-like sharp.

Officially licensed on the annual December event which pits some of the world's finest drivers from the world of motorsport against each other in identical machinery, knockout tournament style.

It's also about the only four-wheel based event that Vettel can be beaten at. (Though not in the Nations Cup portion, in fairness.)

The screens give an initial taster of the vehicles you can expect to get your hands on - with KTM's striking X-Bow making an appearance, of course - but interestingly reveals an off-road section.

The modern RoC event is held on tarmac on an arena-based purpose built track but it has in the past also incorporated off-road circuits - namely when it was held in the Canary Islands.

Regardless, alongside the promising first set of images, it's another encouraging indication that Invictus is looking to deliver a fully specced RoC experience. It's due out in early November so we'll find out soon.
