Toy Story writers Sokolow and Cohen in talks with Zynga to pen FarmVille movie

Back? Okay.

In a recent interview with website IGN, Toy Story writers Alec Sokolow and Joel Cohen revealed that they're currently in talks with social gaming giant Zynga to bring one of the company's franchises to the big screen.

“So, yes, we will continue writing movies. We are also working on several new and very exciting opportunities. We’re in conversations with Zynga to do something with one of their brands. Can’t really say too much on that front yet, but ‘Old MacDonald’ didn’t have a factory, if you get our drift.”

While the duo didn't mention a specific franchise, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out that they're talking about popular Facebook game FarmVille.

Let's hope it's not 90 minutes of watching your crops wither.
