Spilt Milk Studios's puzzler Hard Lines wriggles onto iPhone on June 9th

Last week, Pocket Gamer’s illustrious editor Rob Hearn got all up close and personal with Spilt Milk Studios’s upcoming puzzler Hard Lines, concluding it is 'one to look out for.'

Well, the UK-based developer has just dropped us a - ahem - line to announce that this 21st century iPhone re-interpretation of the classic mobile game Snake will slither into view on June 9th.

Six distinct modes, including Survival, Gauntlet, and Time Attack, will challenge your reflexes and prior-planning chops in Hard Lines, while a generous collision detection system should assuage any touchscreen interface fears.

Though it doesn’t appear as if multiplayer - Rob’s major grievance with Hard Lines - has wormed its way into the final build, the dev has incorporated OpenFeint leaderboards into its fast and frenetic experience.
