It’s refreshing to hear that iOS and Android gaming giant Gameloft is focusing its impressive development resources on a game that isn’t an outright cookie cutter version of another intellectual property.

Gameloft has released a trailer for its Android version of Rainbow Six: Shadow Vanguard. Already available for iPhone, it'll be Xperia Play-exclusive on before becoming available to all Android users.

Chances are you've already experienced a Rainbow Six game, but if not it’s a team-based tactical first-person shooter which traditionally focuses more on stringent organisation than balls-to-the-wall bullet-spraying.

It’ll flashbang Xperia Play owners on June 3rd for an initial price of $4.99 in the US. No news on the UK release as yet.
