Super Mario 3D 'a cross between Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Galaxy'
Will not use StreetPass features
With Nintendo planning to release Super Mario 3D for the Nintendo 3DS later this year, details have begun to trickle through regarding what we can expect.
Talking to The Telegraph, Nintendo legend Shigeru Miyamoto explained that the new Mario is set to be a cross between Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Galaxy.
He also revealed that the game will use the 3DS's gyro-sensor, which will act as the controls for the camera - in other words, you'll be tilting the 3DS to turn the viewpoint.
Disappointingly, the Nintendo boss also explained that there were no plans to include StreetPass features with the game, although he did say "unless a spectacular idea comes to mind".
