Final Fantasy IV: Complete Collection gets EU release date on PSP
Fantastic
The latest of Square Enix’s steady stream of PSP releases in 2011, Final Fantasy IV: Complete Collection, has finally received a European release date.
Screenshots and a Japanese release date of 24th March had already been revealed a few months back, but Square has now confirmed that the latest release of Final Fantasy IV will come to Europe on the 22nd April and the US on the 19th April.
The package includes the original SNES adventure, with enhanced 2D graphics and CGI cut-scenes, and the sequel, Final Fantasy IV: The After Years.
Standard and Special editions will both be available, the latter adding Final Fantasy IV art cards, a PSP screen cloth, and a DLC voucher for another one of Square’s PSP releases in 2011, Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy.
There's no news about whether the game will be available for download on PSN, but given that two of Square Enix's recent releases, Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together and Lord of Arcana, have both found their way to the Playstation Store, it's likely that Final Fantasy IV will too.
