Brain Challenge HD gets your cogs grinding on iPad

Ever since Dr Kawashima opened his big, sciency mouth to Nintendo and allowed the company to turn his words into a game, brain training games have really taken off - for better or for worse.

Gameloft's Brain Challenge series has been one of those that was for the better, and we thoroughly enjoyed the original iPhone version.

Now the series has made the leap to the big screen, with an iPad edition just released.

Brain Challenge HD is more of the same edu-tainment but in high resolution. There are 43 mini-games to head-scratch your way through, with maths, logic, and memory challenges available.

Lots of stats and bar charts track your progress, allowing you to watch your brain become a well-oiled machine.
