The springy-armed multiplayer fighter ARMS is out now on the Nintendo Switch
And there's a new character on the way
We're starting off with a good Friday, ladies and gents, as the boxing-style fighter, ARMS, has finally released on the Nintendo Switch.
Just arrived this morning, ARMS is a multiplayer fighting sport which lets you touch gloves with your opponents before touching their faces...with your fists. Featuring a springy cast of characters, you'll have the option before the round starts to switch up and interchange your boxing gloves to try to give yourself the edge.
You can check out the review for the game right here where we awarded it Pocket Gamer's respectable Silver Award. Glen Fox praised the game by saying, "Overall, Arms is a super fun fighter that succeeds entirely where Nintendo's manifesto is concerned: create a fighter that's fun, accessible, and takes advantage of the Nintendo Switch. That's exactly what Arms does." Though, he doesn't fail to note the game's lack of single player and occasionally janky motion controls.
While we're here Nintendo announced recently that there's a new character on its way as Max Brass joins ARMS next month as a free DLC.
If you're stoked about the game but have yet to buy it, you can find it on Nintendo's website for £49.99. You can also grab it off the eShop, or on Amazon (UK) for £44.99 Happy fighting, everyone.
