Ark: Ultimate Mobile Edition available now, with a whole new trailer alongside it

Well, as it turns out when we speculated that Ark: Ultimate Mobile Edition would be hitting storefronts today, we weren't wrong. Mere hours after the fact, we received official confirmation that Ark: Ultimate Mobile Edition is coming out today! And we even got a shiny new trailer to go along with it, and fresh new details to share.
I won't go over what Ark is all about, check out my previous article for that. But what I can share is not only that Ark: Ultimate Mobile Edition is coming to Google Play and the iOS App Store, but also the Epic Games Mobile Store! This means you'll be able to play on even more storefronts than before.
As for how it'll all work, the main Ark experience looks to be free, with the additional expansions being paid for individually. Or, if you're interested, you can purchase the Ark Pass Subscription (at $4.99/monthly or a $49.99 annual subscription); which includes all current and future expansions, console commands in single-player, bonus XP, drops of free keys and access to exclusive servers.
The only thing that I'm potentially sceptical about when it comes to Ark: Ultimate Mobile Edition is the subscription model. I think there are many who would rather have an up-front price rather than using subscriptions, but the ability to purchase expansions separately is somewhat comforting.
I can't necessarily see access to exclusive servers being a huge selling point, what with the community-driven nature of Ark: Survival Evolved's multiplayer scene. But it's a neat selling addition nonetheless.
