This time Angry Birds is taking a bit of a match-three turn as we're no longer flinging some pretty peeved birds at a bundle of blocks, but rather popping bird bubbles instead.

As with a lot of match-threes, popping bubbles in higher numbers means you'll get a helpful perk like a rocket or bomb. In each level you'll have a target to meet and a selection of lives to meet it in.

Angry Birds Blast! has been soft-launched in the UK for the past few months but this Thursday the 22nd December it'll finally be launching worldwide. What's more, if you pre-register on their website you'll get a free Starter Pack of gold (worth $9.99).
