Halfbrick has finally released the new PS Vita version of its undead blaster Age of Zombies in the US. BlitWorks is handling this polished and preened port, which will run at 60 frames per second.

In Age of Zombies, you travel through time, shooting zombies in the face from a top-down perspective and cracking wise as '80s action hero throwback Barry Steakfries.

I didn't make any of that up. I swear.

When we reviewed the PSP version of the game, we called it an "entertaining, accessible, and action-packed experience". We then gave it a Bronze Award.

The game has already been out on Vita in the UK for just over a month, and will set you back £3.99 / $4.99.
