A Day in the Woods gets ready for Halloween with a spooky update later this week

Given that dark woods and creepy forests are a cornerstone of any decent scare on Halloween it seems only right that A Day in the Woods celebrates the occasion.
That's probably why developer RetroEpic Software will be updating the hex-gridded puzzler this Thursday, October 22nd.
With what I hear you ask? Well, the game's 60 levels will be remixed with new scary themes. One screenshot shows level 50 referred to as "Creepy Creek" with added pumpkins, green bogs, and gravestones.
[Correction: This article previously stated that the game would be getting 60 new levels in the update. This error was due to a misunderstanding.]
You can also expect to see the game's characters all dressed up for the occasion. The bear is becomes a tutu-wearing ballerina. While the girl gets a witch's hat and broomstick.

Along with this update, RetroEpic is putting A Day in the Woods on sale from now until October 31st.
Instead of costing the usual £3.99 / $4.99 you can pick it up for £2.99 / $3.99 on the App Store and Google Play.
