Developer HotGen has announced that its follow-up to iPhone and iPad Pocket Gamer Bronze Award-winning To-Fu: The Trials of Chi is set to hit the App Store next week.

To-Fu 2, as it is cleverly named, will see the return of the App Store's "most malleable hero". It will also introduce a new game mode and over 100 new levels – each full to the brim with traps, obstacles, and hazards.

When, or more precisely if, you manage to complete the new batch of stages, you can replay them all in Time Trial mode.

Finally, To-Fu 2 will include Game Center support for leaderboards and optional in-app purchases. These will allow you to customise your game with new themes, costumes, and gameplay enhancements.

To-Fu 2 will be available next week – probably Wednesday – as a Universal app for both the iPhone and the iPad.
