Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz heading to PS Vita on October 26th

Sega has confirmed today that the PS Vita instalment of its iconic Super Monkey Ball series will be arriving on European shores on October 26th.

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz sees the gang of trapped simians roll and bounce their way through a variety of mazes packed with delicious bananas and precarious drops.

The Vita version comes with two control methods - sticks and motion control - 100 stages, and four difficulty tiers that are said to rival that of its GameCube forebear.

Monkeying around

As you might expect from a Monkey Ball title, there are also a number of mini-games to partake in and a multiplayer mode over wi-fi to get your teeth into.

We'll find out if Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz can trump the disappointing 3DS version on October 26th.
