Raising Reincarnated SwordMage tasks you with taking revenge in a Survivors-like idle RPG
I live again!

- Raising Reincarnated SwordMage is a new, upcoming idle RPG
- Like GoGo Wolf! it mixes Survivors-like perspective with autobattler skill management
- Play as SwordMage Aria, as she journeys to take revenge on her betrayers
What's the saying about buses and three of them coming along at once? Well, just after the release of GoGo Wolf! earlier today, something else came across my desk in a very similar vein. So, let's find out what the upcoming idle RPG action of Raising Reincarnated SwordMage is all about!
Slated for a July release, as you might expect from the somewhat unwieldy title, this idle RPG is banking heavily on its concept. You guide the sword mage, Aria, who is betrayed by her most trusted allies on the eve of their final battle and falls to her death. But she's back, reincarnated in her distant past as a novice swordwoman and with a thirst for revenge.
In Raising Reincarnated SwordMage, all you really need to do is as you would in any autobattler. Pick when and how to use skills, continuously manage the levelling up of your revenge-hungry SwordMage, and fight through hordes of enemies.

Intense action
If mixing a Survivors-like and idle RPG is the new trend, then I'm all for it. However, much like GoGo Wolf!, Raising Reincarnated SwordMage crucially doesn't tell us what degree of control we actually have over Aria. Vampire Survivors, 30-minute sessions aside, already has many features we would associate with idle RPGs, after all, but it's the ability to move your character around that makes it.With that in mind, then, if this new trend wants to stand out, it'll hopefully let you put your skills to the test when playing as you would in another Survivors-like.
Speaking of which, though, should you want to put your skills to the test as a warrior in the Survivors-like arena, why not go back to the genre definer? Check out our list of the top seven mobile games like Vampire Survivors and find out what we think stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the best.
