Mobile game goes handheld

PRISM: Light the Way to find DS

Eidos has announced that its bringing PRISM: Light the Way to Nintendo's handheld.

The game has previously turned up on mobile courtesy of Morpheme, but for DS the conversion duty has been handed to Gamesauce.

PRISM, then, is a light-based puzzle title in which you colour, split and bounce the light to create one illuminating pattern, thereby solving the puzzle.

More than 130 set puzzles are included, together with an 'infinity mode' that will randomly generate more for as long as you wish to solve them. Or until your brain explodes – whichever comes first.

"This is a game for absolutely everybody who enjoys simple but addictive gameplay," Ray Livingston, brand manager at Eidos, said confidently. "The DS is the perfect console for this type of pick-up-and-play game, whether you want a two-minute fix or are settling down on the sofa for a couple of hours of fun."

Obviously, we'll let you know how accurate Ray's words are once we get our hands on the game.
