Tesco game trade-in scheme going nationwide today
|

Shopping behemoth Tesco has expanded its trade-in trial, where it sells pre-owned games and allows customers to trade in their old tat, to shops throughout the UK.

MCV has noticed that the chain is running adverts in national papers, displaying the prices the shop will pay for some top gaming titles, and claiming that the costs can be redeemed against anything in the store.

You can trade in your games to any shop around the country, but only certain applicable shops will be selling back the pre-owned games. At least 60 shops will be offering up the second hand goods in their electronic departments.

The advert notes that pre-owned games could net you as much as £20 if you have, for example, DS platformer New Super Mario Bros. Other games listed will cash out from between £8 and £19.
