Mega Drive emulator, Gensoid, pulled from the Android Market
Another one bites the dust
Android may have grown a strong reputation as a haven for emulation, but that's slowly being eroded with each passing week.
First it was psx4droid that felt the ire of a major corporation when it was removed from the Market last month at the behest of Sony (allegedly).
Now it's the turn of Gensoid, the Mega Drive/Genesis emulator.
Gensoid creator Yongzh has told blog xcjs that Google removed the app after receiving complaints from Sega.
Just as there were several PlayStation emulators left standing after psx4droid vanished, there’s still a number of other Genesis emulators on the Market that haven't been pulled, albeit not from such a big name in the emulation scene as Yongzh.
