Apple shocks the world by announcing a 128GB iPad
No one is really shocked

We said we'd only bring you the juiciest Apple-related news, and you were right to have faith in us, dear reader.
Yesterday, we reported that a few eagle-eyed iOS developers had spotted a reference in the iOS 6.1 beta 5 to compatibility with 128GB iOS devices.
Well, would you Adam and Eve it?
Apple only went and released iOS 6.1 into the wild last night. Oh, and it's just announced a 128GB version of its fourth-generation iPad. Yeh, that's right: 128GB.
Bigger equals betterThis new iPad 4 variant will be hitting Apple's physical and virtual store shelves on Tuesday, February 5th. It will be available in black or white, and with wi-fi-only connectivity (£639) or wi-fi + cellular connectivity (£739).
Apple's announcement is sure to please fans of its 10-inch touchscreen tablet, especially the gamers among them.
With iOS games getting bigger all the time, and no doubt some of your collections filling up the already-available flash storage space, that extra room will come in very handy.
Make sure to keep an eye out for news of the now-almost-certain 128GB iPhone and iPod touch. We'll keep our fingers crossed.
