The first release from developer Hyper Bit Games, Level Tank is a straightforward, top-down survivors-like roguelite. It offers you some pleasingly crunchy retro graphics, with many different enemy types to blast and plenty of skills and new capabilities to let your titular armoured vehicle take on all opponents.
Level Tank comes with three standard game modes, Endless, Waves and Adventure, but also a host of other unlockable means to play, 24 of them in fact, all with new challenges to take on. And as you play you'll get stronger while also unlocking new colour combinations and skins for your tank to boot.
Yes, Level Tank is not exactly a world-beating twist on the genre, but as new releases go, you couldn't ask for much more. With plenty of content packed in such as the aforementioned different modes of play, not to mention different classes you can pick for even more useful abilities, or leaderboards and achievements to show off your prowess, it seems well worth a look.
