Zynga's Facebook title Adventure World to become official Indiana Jones prequel
Why'd it have to be snakes?
From today, Zynga's popular Facebook title Adventure World will feature Harrison Ford's famous treasure-seeking adventurer Indiana Jones.
Unfortunately, the social title (which will be rebranded as Indiana Jones Adventure World) won't allow you to take on the role of the bullwhip-wielding archaeologist, so you're left working alongside him instead.
While we're not entirely sure what dangerous adventures you'll be getting caught up in once the new content drops, copious amounts of traps, snakes, rolling boulders, and other franchise regulars will all be present.
The first batch of new content - which will be playable alongside Adventure World's original adventures - is set in Central America, and consists of three different maps. This first Indy-inspired chapter will be called Indiana Jones and the Calendar of the Sun.
Rather surprisingly, Indiana Jones Adventure World will be part of the franchise's canon, meaning it's an official prequel to the rather excellent Indiana Jones movie trilogy. Oh, and that fourth film.
