Android owners can finally jump into the shoes of the Doctor as he attempts to rescue a stranded family following the attack of a rogue Dalek.

This, naturally, involves travelling through time and space to seven unique locations and 100 levels, pushing boxes - lots of boxes - and collecting goodies.

If that's not enough to whet your sci-fi appetite, you can even play as the Time Lord's trusty red-haired side kick Amy Pond, and unlock several OpenFeint achievements as you go.

It's bigger on the inside

Strangely, there are two versions of Doctor Who: The Mazes of Time on the Android Market.

A free worldwide version that includes further downloadable content packs, and a 50p UK version, which also contains additional DLC.

The iPhone and iPad release managed to muster a measly 5/10 from our resident Doctor Who expert Keith Andrew.
