Gameloft's Xperia Play-exclusive BackStab teaser trailer frame-by-frame

Last week, Gameloft announced its forthcoming Xperia Play-exclusive game BackStab with a teaser image containing next to no information.

The publisher later revealed that the game is set in the Caribbean during the 18th century and stars a character called Henry Blake, who's falsely accused of treason. He therefore sets out to take revenge on the nefarious Brits that stitched him up.

It's set in an open-world environment and boasts side-missions, dynamic combat, and many of the other features that make Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed such a smash hit.

Gameloft has just published a teaser trailer. Here it is, with commentary.

By Henry Blake, that's whom.

Despite being drunk, the British soldier puts his world class military training to good use, swinging round in an instant and firing off a shot. Henry Blake is definitely, definitely going to die now.
