Dungeon defender Wicked Lair is currently on sale for free on iOS

Protecting your loot is hard enough without pesky heroes trying to break into the depths of your dungeon, so in Wicked Lair, you get to defend your multi-leveled dungeon with monsters and traps. The blend of Dungeon Keeper and RPG is currently available for free on the App Store, its first iOS sale of the year.

While a lack of gameplay depth was a considerable issue in our review, Wicked Lair's charming pixel art and compelling enough mechanics proved to offer "a fun diversion", challenging you to unleash and upgrade monstrous units and deadly traps against invading heroes across both a Survival and Town Attack mode.

Since its release, Wicked Lair received new heroes to defeat, as well as two content expansions that have since been integrated into the base game.
