Reports surfacing of retail copies of Tearaway going for £5 in-store at Tesco

The Twittersphere is abuzz with reports of Media Molecule's Platinum Award-winning Tearaway going for a mere £5 in Tesco stores up and down the UK.

Barely a month ago, we said that "Tearaway is inventive and joyous in equal measures, making for one of the best adventures this year, on any platform".

NeoGAF user CRD90 reported that "my local home store had two copies. Still ticketed at £22 but went through for £5!"

There are no guarantees every UK Tesco store will have Tearaway in stock or at this price. If you do find a copy of it in a Tesco near you for £5, please let us know in the comments section below.

We recommend phoning up your local store first. Or perhaps running there to make sure no one cottons on to what may be a pricing error.
